San Francisco's North Beach and the Tenderloin Carry the Adult Scene

North Beach along Broadway has been San Francisco's adult-entertainment strip since the '60s — the Condor Club (where Carol Doda famously introduced topless dancing in 1964), Hustler Club SF, and a cluster of other clubs run along Broadway between Columbus and Kearny. The historic signage along the block is part of San Francisco's cultural record.

California law separates topless-with-alcohol from full-nude juice-bar. SF's North Beach strip runs both formats side-by-side. The Tenderloin has additional adult-oriented venues in a rougher neighborhood context.

Uber in, Uber out. Broadway itself is safe; the Tenderloin side-streets are not. Stick to the main strip.
